Nominate a Speaker
We often get asked where we find such fantastic speakers for our local TEDx events. The answer is surprisingly simple. Many of our nominees come from community members like you.
We look for speakers with something interesting to say, or in the words of TED, we’re looking for “ideas worth spreading.” Our mission is to find people with compelling stories to share, a unique perspective, and the ability to deliver a great talk.
Ultimately, the more nominations we have, the better our final slate of candidates. That’s where you come in. We need your help. Tell us who we should be looking at for our next event.
We are currently looking for nominations for our next in-person event! If you know someone who’d make a great candidate, nominate them today.
* Please note that multiple nominations do not enhance chances of being selected by the organizing committee.
* TEDx rules stipulate that you may not be paid for speaking or performing on the TEDxAmoskeagMillyard stage.
* We typically prioritize first-time TEDx speakers, so while it is not impossible, it is unusual for us to consider folks who have previously spoken at another TED or TEDx event.
