Todd C. Fahey
Advocate for those 50+
New Hampshire native Todd Fahey strives to enhance the quality of life for those 50 and over through his role as director for the 225,000+ member non-profit organization, AARP New Hampshire. As a frequent writer and speaker, he brings an academic, practical, and unique experience to AARP in his service to the organization and its members.
He enjoys the challenges of leading one of NH’s most important and influential non-profit organizations. He said, “New Hampshire’s large, rapidly aging, and capable workforce – combined with its talent and increased life expectancy – is a competitive advantage for New Hampshire that is continually overlooked and underutilized.”
Before taking the role at AARP, Todd spent over 20 years practicing law, most recently as a director and shareholder with the Concord law firm Orr & Reno, P.A. with a focus on organizing and acting as legal counsel to some of the state’s most influential and respected non-profit and business organizations.
Todd was appointed by NH courts several times to act as a special trustee to stabilize large and small non-profits and charitable trusts in distress. He has also run small businesses and has engaged in various entrepreneurial endeavors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Columbia College, Columbia University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.
